AUTOMATIC SENSING DEVICE FOR BOTTOM THREAD BREAKAGE IN EMBROIDERY MACHINE, AND AUTOMATIC STOPPING METHOD

An automatic sensing device for bottom thread breakage in an embroidery machine, and an automatic stopping method. A bottom thread sensing movement rod (41) is hinged on a bottom thread sensing base (40). A torsion spring (402) is provided between the bottom thread sensing movement rod (41) and the bottom thread sensing base (40). A bottom thread sensing drive cam (21) is provided on a main shaft (2), the bottom thread sensing drive cam (21) acting with a tail end of a bottom thread sensing actuation shaft (4). A head end of the bottom thread sensing actuation shaft (4) is provided with an actuation portion, the actuation portion acting with a head end of the bottom thread sensing movement rod (41). A bottom thread (103) is blocked at a tail end of the bottom thread sensing movement rod (41). A bottom thread breakage sensor (45) is arranged on a movement track of the bottom thread sensing movement rod (41). When the bottom thread (103) breaks, the bottom thread sensing movement rod (41) exceeds an established track, and reaches a sensing point of the bottom thread breakage sensor (45), and the bottom thread breakage sensor (45) sends a bottom thread breakage signal to a controller. Therefore, the automatic sensing device for bottom thread breakage in an embroidery machine and automatic stopping method prevent the problem that no special device stops the machine when the bottom thread breaks or runs out, thereby minimising economic and temporal losses.
