Disclosed is a method for preparing a fluorescent probe for identifying microthrix parvicella, the method comprising: employing a halogenated long-carbon-chain compound to modify the 4-methylpyridine portion of carbazole pyridine styrene cyanine dye, and then reacting with 3-formyl-N-ethyl carbazole to synthesize a fluorescent probe having a long hydrophobic chain. The preparation and modification of the carbazole pyridine styrene cyanine dye are synchronized during the preparation of the fluorescent probe of the present invention. The preparation method is simple, and the prepared fluorescent probe has small background interference, high fluorescence intensity and stable fluorescence property. The fluorescent probe prepared by the present invention having a long hydrophobic chain can combine with the hydrophobic surface of the microthrix parvicella, thus identifying microthrix parvicella via fluorescence.
