In this method, halogenated long carbon chain compounds are firstly introduced to modify the 4-methyl pyridine portion of the carbazole pyridine styrene type cyanine dyes, and then the modified portion is fully reacted with the 3-formyl-N-ethyl carbazole to obtain the fluorescent probe with hydrophobic long carbon chain. The present invention has effects shown as follows: the preparation process of the fluorescent probe synchronizes the synthesis and modification of carbazole pyridine styrene type cyanine dyes and the preparation method is simple; the prepared fluorescent probe has excellent anti-interference property of fluorescent background, high fluorescent intensity and stable fluorescent characteristics. Based on the characteristic of Microthrix parvicella that it possesses a hydrophobic surface, the fluorescent probe with the long hydrophobic chains prepared in the present invention can bond with Microthrix parvicella and fulfills the objective of fluorescent identification of Microthrix parvicella.
