The embodiments of the present invention disclose a public bus route query method, device, and equipment. The public bus route query method comprises: a search term inputted by a user is sent to a server; a public bus route corresponding to said search term is received from the server; according to the user's current location, the public bus station nearest to the user's current location and on said public bus route is determined, and is prompted to the user in a preset manner. The public bus route query method, device, and equipment provided by the embodiments of the present invention improve the relevance of information presented to a user, and enrich the public bus route information provided to the user.
