The present invention relates to an antiviral composition containing any one selected from the group consisting of choline, phosphocholine, cytidine triphosphate, CDP-choline, phosphorylcholine and phosphatidylcholine. The antiviral composition is harmless to the human body and exhibits an excellent inhibitory effect on virus propagation, and thus can be applied to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating viral diseases, a dietary supplement for preventing or alleviating viral diseases, a quasi-drug composition and a feed composition.
