A planetary gear transmission mechanism, comprising a first inner tooth ring (41), a first sun gear (44), a first planetary carrier (43), a first planetary gear (42) and a drive shaft (13); the drive shaft is driven by an external power device, passes through a first output component (432), and is fixedly connected to the first sun gear (44); the first output component (432) is located between the power input end and power output end of the drive shaft (13); and the first output component (432) rotates around the drive shaft (13) to output power. An electronic parking brake actuator employing the first planetary gear transmission mechanism achieves the central axes of the first and second planetary gear transmission mechanisms being radially arranged in parallel, thus effectively reducing the dimensions in the axial direction, and improving space utilization.
