The present invention relates to a desulfurizing agent generated by subjecting a limestone sludge, which has been discharged from an ironworks, to a pre-treatment in order to use same in flue-gas desulfurization equipment, and the desulfurizing agent for flue-gas desulfurization according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a mixture of: 60-90 wt.% of limestone slurry; and 10-40 wt.% of limestone sludge which is a by-product of ironmaking.
