A drive and charging integrated control method for an electric vehicle, and an electric vehicle using the control method. In the electric vehicle, a drive function and a charging function are achieved through a topological system structure of the same hardware. The electric vehicle comprises a high-voltage battery, an inverter and a motor, wherein when the electric vehicle is in a drive state, a high-voltage current output by the high-voltage battery is converted into a three-phase alternating current by the forward operation control of the inverter and is then output to the motor, so as to drive the motor to operate; and when the electric vehicle is in a charging state, an external three-phase alternating current is input to the motor, is then input to the inverter through a coil winding of the motor, and is converted into a direct current by the reverse operation control of the inverter to charge the high-voltage battery. The high-voltage battery is charged by means of the coil winding, serving as charging inductance, of the motor and by means of the reverse operation of a motor driving system which is the inverter. In the charging state, the coil winding of the motor is used as a charging inductor to change the inverter into a charger, the structure is simpler, the control is easy and convenient, the size is compact, the cost is low, the charging capability at full-power driving is achieved, the charging speed is high, and the efficiency is high.
