An ultra-wideband supercontinuum light source based on a two-waveband fibre laser, which is suitable for the technical field of fibre laser light, comprising: a first fibre laser (1), a second fibre laser (2), a wavelength division multiplexer (3) and a cascaded two-stage supercontinuum evolution assembly. Two fibre lasers of different wavebands are adopted as seed sources to form a two-waveband fibre laser for simultaneously outputting two-waveband laser light, and the two-waveband fibre laser is used for pumping the cascaded evolution assembly. Specifically, when the two-waveband laser light passes through a first-stage evolution assembly, the laser light of one waveband is evolved into a visible light-near infrared supercontinuum, while the laser light of the other waveband is evolved into an ultrashort pulse, and the two are together coupled into a second-stage evolution assembly; the ultrashort pulse is then evolved into a near infrared-intermediate infrared supercontinuum in the second-stage evolution assembly, while the visible light-near infrared supercontinuum generated in the previous stage is transmitted therein at low loss; and finally, an ultra-wideband supercontinuum covering three wavebands of visible light-near infrared-intermediate infrared is output from a cascaded fibre.
