Disclosed is a Tibetan input method. The method comprises: embedding at least two of the following forms of consonants in Tibetan into the English letter keys A, S, D, F, G, H, K and L and the symbolic keys ; and ', wherein the forms at least comprise any two of front addition characters, rear addition characters and morpheme characters; embedding three top addition characters and four bottom addition characters into the corresponding English letter keys Q, W, E, O and P and the symbolic keys [ and ; and embedding a separatrix existing at the back of each individual character into the English letter key J. The "m" key does not need to be input repeatedly when a user inputs the top addition characters and the bottom addition characters, the front addition characters and the rear addition characters are embedded into the high-frequency keys A, S, D, F, G, H, K and L and the symbolic keys ; and ', and therefore rapid input of the characters is guaranteed. The present invention can be applied to computers and terminal devices, software, networks, communication, various books and printed materials involving Tibetan characters.
