The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbonation sensation enhancing agent and a flavoring composition for enhancing carbonation sensation that have excellent long-term stability even in the acidic range and exhibit a high carbonation sensation enhancing effect without affecting taste, and also to provide a carbonated beverage in which the carbonation sensation has been stably enhanced. By using a carbonation sensation enhancing agent in which a Pyropia extract is an active ingredient, the present invention obtains a carbonation sensation enhancing effect without affecting the flavor of the carbonated beverage. Moreover, the addition of a spice extract to the Pyropia extract results in a carbonation sensation enhancing agent exhibiting a carbonation sensation enhancing effect that is stable and does not decrease even in the acidic range.
