The invention provides a display method and apparatus for a terminal display interface, the method comprising: detecting the rotation of the terminal; after the rotation, displaying the terminal display interface in a display direction preset by the user. The method of the present invention resolves the problem in the prior art that the mode that an intelligent terminal can only be switched between transverse screen and longitudinal screen can not satisfy user requirements, so as to provide the terminal user with a more flexible display manner of the terminal display interface and improve user experience.
