The invention relates to a method for producing a reinforced part (4), characterised in that it comprises draping continuous unidirectional fibres (31-34) over a rigid intermediate part (1) produced from at least one first thermoplastic polymer, said fibres being pre-impregnated with at least one second thermoplastic polymer, said draping being carried out by the automated positioning of the pre-impregnated fibres on the intermediate part by means of a compaction roller (21) and by heating the pre-impregnated continuous fibres to be draped and the intermediate part to a temperature at least higher than or equal to the melting temperature of the second polymer, in order to weld the pre-impregnated fibres to the intermediate part, said pre-impregnated fibres being draped in the direction(s) of the main stresses of the reinforced part.
