METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GUIDING USER TO ACTIVATE USB DEBUGGING OPTION

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for guiding a user to activate the USB (Universal Serial Bus) debugging options of a mobile terminal. The method comprises: acquiring USB module identification information of the mobile terminal to be guided (S1); and then querying a debugging guidance information database according to the USB module identification information, to obtain and provide one or more pieces of corresponding debugging guidance information to the user, wherein the debugging guidance information may be used for guiding the user to activate the USB debugging options in the mobile terminal (S2). By employing the method, the user can discover and activate the USB debugging options more quickly and accurately, reducing the difficulty of the user in activating the USB debugging options and also lowering the time cost required by the user to discover the USB debugging options. In addition, the method can provide corresponding debugging guide information according to the USB module identification information of the mobile terminal, so that the accuracy of the debugging guide information provided can be improved.
