Disclosed are a time division spread spectrum code-based optical spectroscopy system capable of controlling irradiation power and a method for controlling the optical spectroscopy system. The method for controlling the optical spectroscopy system may comprise the steps of: authenticating, on a web server included in the optical spectroscopy system, a device by registering a serial number of the measuring device for measuring the bodily signals of a subject, and releasing a new version of a firmware and notifying a monitoring apparatus as to whether or not released; downloading the new version of the firmware from the web server on the monitoring apparatus included in the optical spectroscopy system; and executing the update mode of the firmware on the wearable apparatus included in the optical spectroscopy system, and downloading the new version of the firmware from the monitoring apparatus.
