The invention relates to a self-adhesive medical dressing for a skin wound, consisting of a pair of tapes to be adjacently arranged either side of the wound to be healed, which are temporarily separated until the end of the application by a wedge in the form of a strip arranged perpendicularly to the plane of the skin of the patient, said tapes containing long magnetic elements which attract each other so as to ensure a permanent transverse compression of the edges of the wound.
