An image sorting device, an image sorting method, a program for controlling a computer of the image sorting device, and a recording medium storing the program are provided so that when images are sorted by each of multiple activity items of an event, the sorting can be revised. Many images are sorted into image folders by activity item in accordance with scheduled implementation times. Among the images sorted into the image folders, for example, images stored in "Opening ceremony" image folder are displayed in a first image display area 81, and images stored in "Greeting by school principal" image folder are displayed in a second image display area 82. Among the images displayed in area 81 or area 82, images that do not match activity items represented by the relevant image folder are moved from area 81 to area 82, or from area 82 to area 81. The scheduled implementation times are revised using photographing times of the moved images, and the images are resorted into the image folders.
