A cell or tissue-specific effector gene is developed and provided to establish a cell death-inducing system in Lepidoptera insects including the silkworm.　Provided are a site-specific promoter, and a cell death-inducing vector that includes, in a state that enables expression within Lepidoptera insect cells, a proapoptosis gene or the like of mammalian origin that is subjected to direct or indirect expression control by said promoter.
