The present invention relates to a low-power-consumption in-ear active noise reduction music earphone and a noise reduction method. The earphone comprises an audio plug, an in-ear earbud and a noise reduction control board connected therebetween, the noise reduction control board comprising a low-power-consumption active noise reduction circuit, wherein the low-power-consumption active noise reduction circuit comprises a noise processing channel, an audio signal channel and a mixing circuit connected at output ends of the two channels, the mixing circuit being a bypass switch composed of two low-pressure-drop diodes that are independent of each other. The noise reduction method comprises: processing an ambient noise signal collected by a sound pick-up via a noise processing channel to generate an inverse noise signal that corresponds to the ambient noise to be output to one input end of a bypass switch, and to be output to the same speaker together with an audio signal of the other input end of the bypass switch after being mixed via the bypass switch, and producing sound waves that contain inverse noise in an ear cavity, wherein the inverse noise counteracts with the ambient noise transmitted into the ear cavity from the outside, so as to realize noise reduction. The earphone is low in power consumption and long in use time.
