The invention relates to a sensor housing for a wheel sensor device for a vehicle as well as to a wheel sensor device for a vehicle. According to the invention, once the sensor housing (10)/the wheel sensor device comprising a first rotational speed sensor (14) and a second rotational speed sensor (16) therein is mounted on the vehicle, a rotary encoder that rotates along with a rotating vehicle wheel initiates a change in at least one first physical variable in the first rotational speed sensor (14) and additionally a change in at least one second physical variable in the second rotational speed sensor (16). The invention further relates to a connecting component for cooperation with the wheel sensor device. The invention also relates to a production method for a wheel sensor device for a vehicle as well as to a method for mounting a wheel sensor device. Providing two rotational speed sensors in a common housing results in a redundant device without requiring additional effort for mounting same. Optionally, a device of said type can be connected to two voltage sources or two control electronics units in order to obtain an even better redundancy of the entire system.
