The present invention provides a data transmission method in the internet of things, a data transmission system, an internet of things device, a terminal and an internet of things system. The method includes: determining whether it is necessary to transmit uplink data and/or whether the reference signal reception power of a device with a function of base station in a current cell is less than or equals to preset reception power and/or whether signal strength is less than or equals to preset signal strength; if it is, transmitting relay searching signaling to multiple terminals in the current cell; receiving relay searching signaling feedback transmitted from at least one terminal; determining whether to utilize any terminal as a relay terminal according to the relay searching signaling feedback transmitted from any terminal among the at least one terminal; after determining any terminal as the relay terminal, transmitting relay application signaling to the relay terminal. By the technical solution of the present invention, an optimal relay terminal can be selected for internet of things devices, and furthermore, an optimal relay path can be selected for internet of things devices.
