The infant monitoring device according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: an image acquisition unit that acquires photographed images that capture an infant sleeping and that include depth data that indicates the depth of each pixel in the photographed images; a vital information acquisition unit that acquires vital information that includes the pulse rate and the breathing state of the infant; a sleeping state analysis unit that extracts a person region that is the region in which the infant appears in the photographed images, references the depth of the pixels included in the extracted person region, and analyzes the body movements and the sleeping position of the infant; a warning-sign determination unit that determines, on the basis of the pulse rate, the breathing state, the body movements, and the sleeping position, whether the infant shows a warning sign of sudden infant death syndrome; and a notification unit that, when the determination results have determined that the infant shows a warning sign of sudden infant death syndrome, performs warning-sign detection notification that is for making it known that a warning sign of sudden infant death syndrome is present.
