A mining shielding type trailing cable and a manufacturing process therefor. The trailing cable comprises at least one power wire core unit (1), at least one ground wire core (2), an inner sheath (3) coating outer surfaces of the power wire core unit (1) and the ground wire core (2), a braiding reinforcement layer (4) located on an outer surface of the inner sheath (3), and an outer sheath (5) extruded on an outer surface of the braiding reinforcement layer (4). The outer sheath (5) is composed of the following components in parts by weight: chlorinated polyethylene, chloroprene rubber, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, dibasic lead sulfate, tribasic lead sulfate, 4,4'-dioctyl diphenylamine, N-N-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine, RD, N,N-dimethylaniline, tricapryl trimellitate, epoxidized soybean oil, 70# chlorinated paraffin, high-wear-resistant carbon black, antimony trioxide, hydrotalcite, ammonium polyphosphate, precipitation-method-based white carbon black, modified calcined nano clay, gamma-mercaptopropyl triethoxysilane, trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, triallyl isocyanurate, and triallyl cyanurate. The tensile strength of an outer sheath is larger than 12 Mpa, the elongation at break is larger than 350%, the aging performance and wear resistance of the sheath are improved, an aging temperature can reach 135°C, the weather resistance is excellent, and the volume resistivity of a material is also improved.
