GATE KEEP-BASED VIDEO CONFERENCE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVENING VIDEO CONFERENCE

The present invention provides a gate keep-based video conference system and a method for convening a video conference, wherein the system comprises: a gate keep module, a serving module and a control module; the serving module is configured to provide resources for realizing the video conference and scheduling and management on the resources in a reservation process of the video conference; the control module is configured to control terminals participating in the video conference and conference parameters when the video conference begins; and the gate keep module is configured to forward a message sent by the serving module and used for reserving the resources of the video conference to a conference management system, and forward a message sent by the control module and used for controlling the terminals and the conference parameters in a beginning process of the video conference to the terminals. By means of the present invention, during the reservation process and the beginning process of the video conference, reservation, convening and control on a conference and control on equipment are enabled to be simple, thereby solving the problem of inconvenience in the scheduling of the resources of the video conference and the conference reminding in the related art.
