NOVEL BIFUNCTIONAL COMPOUNDS, USEFUL AS LIGANDS OF URANIUM(VI), AND USES OF SAME, IN PARTICULAR FOR EXTRACTING URANIUM(VI) FROM AQUEOUS PHOSPHORIC ACID SOLUTIONS

The invention relates to novel compounds which are represented by the following general formula (I): (I) in which : R¹ and R², identical or different, each represents a C₆ to C₁₂ saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group; R³ represents a C₁ to C₁₂ saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group optionally comprising one or more heteroatoms; R⁴ represents a hydrogen atom or a C₁ to C₁₂ saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group optionally comprising one or more heteroatoms; and R⁵ represents a hydrogen atom or a C₂ to C₁₀ saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group. The invention also relates to the uses of said compounds as ligands of uranium(VI), in particular for extracting uranium(VI) from an aqueous phosphoric acid solution, such as a solution resulting from sulphuric acid attack on natural phosphate and to a method for recovering the uranium(VI) present in an aqueous phosphoric acid solution resulting from sulphuric acid attack on natural phosphate and utilising said compounds. Applications: treatment of natural phosphates with a view to upgrading the uranium present in said phosphates.
