Provided is a dielectric ceramic material which is characterized in that: the dielectric ceramic material comprises perovskite (ABO3) composite oxide particles; the value of ((D90-D10)/D50) is 1.2 or less, where D10 is the particle size at which an accumulated value in a volume frequency particle size distribution measurement by a laser diffraction scattering method is 10%, D50 is the particle size at which the accumulated value therein is 50%, and D90 is the particle size at which the accumulated value therein is 90%; the average particle size D50 is 3 to 15 μm; and the relationship between the theoretical specific surface area (m2/g) calculated by the average particle size D50 and the BET specific surface area (m2/g) measured by the BET method is 0.5≤ ((BET specific surface area-theoretical specific surface area)/theoretical specific surface area) ≤9.0.
