Disclosed is an MGMT gene promoter methylation detection based on a pyrosequencing technique. In particular, the present invention relates to a sequencing primer for the detection of MGMT gene promoter methylation based on a pyrosequencing technique, a kit and microarray comprising the sequencing primer for the detection of MGMT gene promoter methylation based on a pyrosequencing technique, a use of the sequencing primer in the preparation of the kit and the microarray for the detection of MGMT gene promoter methylation based on a pyrosequencing technique, and a method for the detection of MGMT gene promoter methylation in the sample using the sequencing primer.
