The invention relates to the field of security printing, and more particularly to making and personalizing plastic documents. The proposed valuable document comprises a multilayer polymeric structure, in which one or more layers have an optically variable effect and contain security features. At least one of the layers, which is a registering layer, is made from a polymeric composite material with a glass-transition temperature of from 20 to 100°C, which is reactive to temperature and to optical, x-ray and electron-ion radiation, resulting in irreversible polymerisation, wherein said layer contains a filler in the form of magnetic particles, which form personalized images that are visible in transmitted or reflected light.
