The present invention relates to an ocean search rescue system and an ocean search rescue method using the same in order to quickly rescue a person when an accident such as missing, distress, etc. occurs especially on the sea. The ocean search rescue method using the ocean search rescue system, which connects a weather center, a control center, an ocean rescue center, and a search ship having a GPS receiver, comprises the following steps: (S10) the control center individually receives weather information (A) and accident information (B) from the weather center and the ocean rescue center in order to form a search zone of a set area based on an accident occurrence point on the sea, and forms the search zone; the control center determines type and number information (C) of the search ship to search the search zone, indirectly delivers the same to a search ship corresponding to the number information (C) through the ocean rescue center or directly delivers the same to the search ship corresponding to the number information (C); the control center sets search sea route information (D) where each search ship is to be moved in accordance with the type and the number information (C) of the search ship, and indirectly or directly delivers the same to the corresponding search ship through the ocean rescue center; and the control center receives location information of the GPS receiver of the search ship in order to monitor the search ship and correct the separation from a sea route.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
