According to a method for managing damage factors of an electronic device and an electronic device performing the same: sensor data are sensed by a sensor of the electronic device; at least one of the sensor data determines whether an event equal to or more than a predetermined value, has occurred; if the event has occurred, information of time when the event has occurred and information of a location where the event has occurred, are obtained; and event information, including at least one from intensity of impact before and after occurrence of the event and temperature change of an inside or an outside of the electronic device, is obtained based on the sensor data. In addition, various embodiments are disclosed and other embodiments are possible.
