MICROFLUIDIC SYSTEM, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF AND METHOD OF CELL ENCAPSULATION IN HYDROGEL

The present invention relates to a technology of capsulating cells in a hydrogel and, more specifically, to a microfluidic device for allowing cells to be dispersed into single cells while passing through a fine column array zone and a focusing zone, and to be supported in a hydrogel, and to a method for manufacturing the microfluidic device, and a method for supporting cells in a hydrogel. When the method for supporting cells using the microfluidic device of the present invention is used, microorganism cells which are not in a conglomerated spherical shape can be dispersed by using a structure of a fine column array zone. In addition, the microorganism cells can be supported in a hydrogel drop in the form of a single cell, in a focusing zone, thereby solving problems of cellular aggregation caused by a polymer, and supporting the dispersed cells in a hydrogel in the form of a single cell.
