According to an embodiment of the present invention, an openflow controller in a cloud computing system based on a software definition network includes: a database for storing information of at least one virtual machine included in the cloud computing system, and a forwarding route of the virtual machine; a storage device for storing a disaster recovery application; and a processor for running the disaster recovery application. If live migration of the virtual machine, included in the cloud computing system, is performed, the processor: detects the live-migrated virtual machine as the disaster recovery application is run; extracts a forwarding path corresponding to the live-migrated virtual machine; updates a stored forwarding path based on the extracted forwarding path; searches for an openflow switch corresponding to the extracted forwarding path; and updates the extracted forwarding path to the searched openflow switch.
