Provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a Ligustri Fructus extract and a Lycium chinense Miller extract as active ingredients for preventing or treating periodontal diseases. The Ligustri Fructus extract and the Lycium chinense Miller extract are extracted using water, alcohol having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a mixed solvent thereof.
