The present invention relates to a method for screening a target gene of a drug by using a chemistry-genome profile compendium of a heterozygous deletion fission yeast strain, and by performing comparative genomic analysis using the same. The chemistry-genome profile compendium for a candidate drug is generated from a heterozygous deletion fission yeast strain library of Schizosaccharomyces pombe (S.pombe), which is fission yeast; and then the obtained chemistry-genome profile compendium is compared with a chemistry-genome profile compendium of Saccharomyces cerevisiase (S.cerevisiae) which is germinated yeast, to effectively screen a target gene of the drug, exhibiting sensitivity to the drug. Therefore, the screening method of the present invention can be advantageously used to identify a target gene of a drug from various eukaryotic organisms as the target gene, exhibiting sensitivity to a drug, of the drug is effectively selected from the chemistry-genome profile compendium of the heterozygous deletion fission yeast strain.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
