The present invention relates to a mobile payment system based on biometric authentication, and a mobile payment method. The mobile payment system includes: a mobile terminal, an identification code on a menu, a system server, and a mobile payment platform. The mobile payment method includes: a step of scanning at least one identification code corresponding to at least one target on the menu with the mobile terminal in order to form a list, and transmitting the list and a number corresponding to the mobile terminal to the server wherein each target on the menu corresponds to the identification code; a step of transmitting the list to the mobile payment platform by the system server, and transmitting a payment command for payment by a user of the mobile terminal to the mobile payment platform; a step of transmitting the list to the mobile terminal after receiving the payment command from the mobile payment platform, and transmitting a confirmation message to the mobile payment platform after the user pays through biometric authentication by confirming the list with the mobile terminal; and a step of transmitting a command for the completion of the payment through the mobile payment platform to the system server. Therefore, there is no need to wait to make an order as an instant transaction is made, and therefore, the stability and efficiency of the transaction are improved.
