The present invention relates to an apparatus for supplying power using the waste heat from a main engine, which produces steam by using the waste heat included in the exhaust gas from the operation of the main engine for a ship, produces power needed for the ship by driving a turbine with the steam, and can substitute for an auxiliary power generator by driving an auxiliary boiler installed in the ship, supplying steam to the turbine, and producing power when the main engine cannot be operated. To achieve this purpose, the apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an exhaust gas economizer (EGE) (100) for generating steam by performing heat exchange of boiler water using the exhaust gas generated by the main engine; a steam turbine power generator (200) for generating power by driving the turbine with the steam generated by the EGE (100); a steam superheater (900) installed between the EGE (100) and the steam turbine power generator (200) to exchange heat with the steam, where pressure is reduced to provide high-pressure steam generated by the boiler for the steam turbine power generator (200), and to make overheated steam; a vacuum condenser (300) connected to the steam turbine power generator (200) to form a negative pressure near vacuum on the side where the steam is discharged after conveying energy and generating power in the turbine to increase the efficiency of the turbine; a cascade tank (400) connected to the vacuum condenser (300) to store water for generating steam; and the auxiliary boiler (500) connected to the cascade tank (400) to generate steam for general and auxiliary devices of the ship when the main engine is not used.
