The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing high purity nickel from nickel slime containing fluorine, comprising: a step of souring the nickel slime, washing the nickel slime with water, adding a hydroxide to the nickel slime, and filtering the nickel slime to remove iron and fluorine from the nickel slime; a step of supplying an electrolyte to an electrolytic bath of an electrolytic refining device, discharging the electrolyte to a receiving tank through an outer circulation pipe, and supply the electrolyte to a cathode pocket having a negative pole of the electrolytic bath by a pump, thereby circulating the electrolyte; a step of positioning the nickel slime where the iron and fluorine are removed from both poles pocket having a positive pole and a negative pole of the electrolytic bath and applying current to the positive pole and the negative pole. According to the present invention, a highly expensive device such as a cation-exchange resin membrane is unnecessary, thereby remarkably reducing process costs.
