A method for detecting a depth-image-based rendering (DIBR) 3D image according to an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of: presuming an area where hole-filing is generated from an image; extracting an edge from the image by using a differentiation filter in a vertical direction; and extracting the area where hole-filing is generated by matching the area having the hole-filing presumed from the image with the edge extracted from the image.
