The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with amorphous carbon by using electrospinning and vapor deposition polymerization and then applying the composite to a supercapacitor. In the method, nanofibers are manufactured by using electrospinning a polymer in a mixed solution including a metal oxide precursor, nickel oxide nanofibers are manufactured by performing heat treatment thereon, a nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with polypyrrole (PPy) is manufactured through vapor deposition polymerization, the manufactured nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with the polypyrrole (PPy) is carbonized to manufacture a nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with amorphous carbon. When the nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with amorphous carbon is used as a capacitor electrode, the capacitor electrode has high capacitance performance and safety, thereby presenting the possibility of it being a next generation capacitor electrode. According to the present invention, there is an advantage of easily manufacturing an inorganic nanofiber composite coated with an organic material by simple and inexpensive electrospinning and vapor deposition polymerization. In addition, the nickel oxide (NiO) nanofiber composite coated with amorphous carbon according to the present invention can be manufactured regardless of kinds of metal oxidizers and monomers of a coating layer as well as regardless of kinds and thicknesses of inorganic material.
