More particularly, the present invention provides a photocatalyst for forming a Co-Fe 2 intermediate layer on a Co-Fe 2 intermediate layer composed of a cobalt-iron mixed ratio of 2: 4: 1 . The cobalt-iron double layered hydroxide catalyst of the present invention can generate about 450% of oxygen under visible light. Therefore, it is expected that it can contribute to the increase of the photocatalytic efficiency of the double layer hydroxide using the transition metal.
