The present invention provides a friction parameter identification method of a linear movement platform. Since the reaction section of different friction forces is based on the relative speed of two contact surfaces, only the Coulomb friction and viscous friction forces exist on the contact surfaces if the relative speed of the contact surfaces is significantly larger than the Stribeck speed. A measurement torque speed in the section can be used to identify a Coulomb friction torque, a fiction torque of the linear movement platform, and the equivalent inertia mass of the linear movement platform. When the relative speed between the contact surfaces is lower than the Stribeck speed, three base parameters described in advance can be coupled to identify the maximum traction torque and the Stribeck speed.
