DUAL TURBINE ASSEMBLY FOR LOW-HEAD HYDROPOWER GENERATION

Disclosed is a dual turbine assembly. The dual turbine assembly includes: a first vertical axis turbine rotated by the flow of fluids; a second vertical axis turbine horizontally separated from the first vertical axis turbine, and rotated by the flow of the fluids in the opposite direction to the first vertical axis turbine; a fixing body in which the first and second vertical axis turbines are installed, and through which the fluids flow; and a rotation force delivery unit delivering rotation force of the first and second vertical axis turbines to a rotation shaft of a power generator. According to the present invention, a pair of turbines, rotated in the opposite direction to each other, are installed in the sea, river, or artificial waterway to the depth of no more than 20m, and therefore, the efficiency is more improved and the performance between the turbines is kept similar.
