The present invention relates to a photosensitizer-loaded calcium carbonate hybrid nanoparticle, a method for manufacturing the same, and a composition for ultrasound contrast imaging and photodynamic therapy comprising the same and, more specifically, to a photosensitizer-loaded calcium carbonate hybrid nanoparticle comprising a photosensitizer-loaded calcium carbonate core and a polymer shell, not discharging a photosensitizer existing in the calcium carbonate core by being stable in a blood flow without dissolution of calcium carbonate, generating carbon dioxide according to dissolution of calcium carbonate by being dissolved in acid pH of endosome and lysosome in cancer tissues and cells after targeting, and simultaneously performing ultrasound contrast imaging and photodynamic therapy by inducing discharge of the loaded photosensitizer; to a manufacturing method thereof; and to a composition for ultrasound contrast imaging and photodynamic therapy comprising the same. The photosensitizer-loaded calcium carbonate hybrid nanoparticle comprises a photosensitizer, and a copolymer composed of a non-ionic hydrophilic polymer part and an ionic polymer part. The photosensitizer-loaded calcium carbonate and the ionic polymer part of the copolymer form a core part. The non-ionic hydrophilic polymer part forms a shell part.
