NATURAL DYE MANUFACTURE METHOD AND DYEING METHOD USING CHESTNUTS SHELL

The present invention relates to a method for dyeing and producing a natural dye using a chestnut shell. According to the present invention, the production method comprises the following steps: drying the chestnut shell in an airy place for 2-5 days; soaking the chestnut shell dried in the previous step in cold water for 2-5 hours; boiling the chestnut shell of the previous step in water at 95-105C for 30 minutes to 1 hour; further boiling the boiled product from the previous step for 30 minutes to 1 hour again after lowering a temperature to 50-70C; extracting a water-soluble pigment using a crude liquid produced from the previous step; and repeating the steps above. According to the present invention, it is possible to recycle the chestnut shell which is subjected to disuse, instead of discarding the same. Thus, the method of the present invention can contribute to protection of the environment and reduction in costs required for waste disposal. Furthermore, the production costs is relatively inexpensive, and various color implementations on a fabric are possible as well.
