The present invention relates to an arrangement structure of a liquid tank and a drill ship having the arrangement structure. In an open deck structure of a drill ship in which a riser is stored in a riser hold, a liquid tank is arranged between a water ballast tank and the riser hold, and thus a space in the longitudinal direction of a hull can be utilized to the maximum, and as the length of an existing liquid tank is relatively reduced due to the capacity of an additional liquid tank, the overall length of the drill ship can be reduced, thereby reducing the construction costs and maintenance costs during the drilling operation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
