The present invention relates to a real-time leakage detection device and a real-time leakage detection method for an absorbent article absorbing a body fluid or excretion and, more specifically, to a real-time leakage detection device for detecting whether a body fluid or excretion flows over the edge of the absorbent article in real time, and to a real-time leakage detection method using the same. The real-time leakage detection device comprises a detection part located on the edge of the absorbent article, and detecting the body fluid or excretion flowing over the edge thereof; and a wireless transmission part transmitting leakage of the body fluid or excretion with a wireless signal by a signal detected in the detection part.
