The present invention relates to a multiple gait phase recognizing method using surface electromyography signal-based boost classifiers and a classification matrix, capable of classifying three steps (heel strike, mid stance, toe off) of a stance phase and one step (swing) of a swing phase using two classifiers (heel LDA, toe LDA) and surface electromyography (sEMG) signals without using a physical sensor. The multiple gait phase recognizing method includes (a) a step of generating the classifiers classifying the EMG signals by receiving sample signals of the EMG signals of multiple channels and (b) a step of recognizing gait motions with the classifiers. The multiple gait phase recognizing method is capable of classifying the gait phases using only sEMG without using a physical sensor. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the multiple gait phase recognizing method using the sEMG signal-based boost classifier and the classification matrix.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
