Disclosed is a design innovation consulting method capable of providing a consulting service on design development by associating design concept considered the most important with ECS/CMF techniques supporting the concept at a design development step, and supporting distribution by a company making the use of the design after the design development is finished by utilizing a VMD toolkit which is a distribution supporting technology for small- or middle-sized businesses. The design innovation consulting method includes the steps of: selecting, by a client company terminal, a frame provided by a main server; analyzing, by the main server, design brand capability using a SWOT toolkit, displaying, by the main server, information allowing establishment of a design strategy on a main screen; performing, by the main server, an additional concept design; requesting, by the main server, a design professional terminal to develop a design; and registering the design developed by the design professional terminal as a design in a file format for the client company terminal.
