The present invention relates to a hydrazone copolymer of tetrahydrazine-containing calix[4]arene and bisphenylaldehyde-containing cyclohexane, and a manufacturing method thereof. In addition, the present invention relates to a composition comprising the copolymer for blocking ultraviolet rays. The hydrazone copolymer of tetrahydrazine-containing calix[4]arene and bisphenylaldehyde-containing cyclohexane of the present invention has excellent physical properties and remarkable characteristics of blocking ultarviolet rays. The copolymer of the present invention has at least one repeating unit selected from the group consisting of repeating units represented by chemical formula 1, chemical formula 2, and chemical formula 3; and has a number average molecular weight of 4000 to 5000.
