DIRECT BORING APPARATUS FOR LONG STEEL PIPE TO IMPROVE STRAIGHTNESS AND METHOD TO CONSTRUCT MINI-PIPE ROOF USING DIRECT BORING APPARATUS

The present invention provides a direct boring apparatus for a long steel pipe, and a method to construct a mini-pipe roof using the direct boring apparatus. A steel pipe (ground reinforcement pipe) is installed preceding a tunnel face at the time of tunnel excavation, or is installed in a pipe roof manner preceding the inside of a lower ground of an existing structure when constructing a new tunnel structure on a lower portion of the existing structure such as a road and a railway. Even when a direct boring apparatus for a long steel pipe including a steel pipe shoe, and a pilot bit having a size and weight increased to drill a long boring hole with an installation length of about 30 m is used when the steel pipe is inserted into the ground in a direct boring manner; a front end of the steel pipe does not deviate from a target position, and straightness thereof is able to be kept.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
